Is-sinjal għal KTIEB TAL-KANT magħmul minn żewġ partijiet. (i) Fl-ewwel parti jsir is-sinjal għal KTIEB. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq u jinfetħu minn ma’ xulxin, jiġifieri minn pala ma’ pala bil-ponot tas-swaba’ jħarsu ’l barra, u jiġu bil-pala tħares ’il fuq waqt li jibqgħu jmissu mill-ġenb tas-swaba’ ż-żgħar. (ii) Fit-tieni parti jsir is-sinjal għal KANT. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn u ddur quddiem il-ħalq bħallikieku qed iżżomm mikrofonu.

The sign for HYMN BOOK consists of two parts. (i) In the first part the sign for BOOK is made. Both hands take the shape of closed 5 with palms touching and fingertips pointing outwards. The hands open up such that the palms face upwards whilst the hands touch at the side of the little finger. (ii) The second part is the sign for SING. The hand forms a fist shape and rotates near the mouth, as if holding a microphone.
